Metro Parks Teen Program Center

Hang Out, Help Out, Have Fun!

Play a game of pool, watch TV or listen to a CD. Find a quiet corner to read or do your homework. There's even a kitchen where you can buy a snack at minimal cost, or fix your own.

Get involved in one of the special events (concerts, flashlight egghunts and the annual Battle of the Bands) or community service projects (Earth Day Cleanup, Youth Suicide Prevention, Halloween House)

A wide variety of social and recreational activities are planned each month, some on site, some off. Games, craft workshops, field sports and movies are just a few of the things that take place at the Teen Center. Off-site activities include paint-ball, day hikes, shopping and backpacking trips.

The best part is -- it doesn't cost anything to join. And it's open all year around; school breaks and summer, too!

The Teen Program Center's staff sends this message: Just show up. Something's bound to be going on.
