Community Connections

An innovative collaboration among many of Bainbridge Island's social service agencies and the Health, Housing and Human Services Council (HHHS).

The purpose of the project is to promote cooperation and coordination of a continuum of services for Island residents.

Project Components

Agency directors collaborate monthly, sharing information about their services, project ideas, funding possibilities and pressing issues that affect our community.

In the interest of getting the word out about programs and services Community Connections developed an annual all-Island newsletter, a brochure and this website.

Community Connection agencies are always looking at how they might share resources to insure easier access to their programs and to maximize their chances for funding even more exciting projects and services in the future.

Development of a multiple agency Human Services Database project, which makes it possible to track service delivery trends across the agencies.
